Summer is a fantastic time to start an Orton-Gillingham
based tutoring program!
The following is a link to a fact sheet from the International Dyslexia
Association that describes multisensory, structured language teaching.
This approach, also known as the Orton-Gillingham approach, is the only
method proven by decades of independent, scientific research to significantly
improve the reading, writing, and spelling skills of individuals with dyslexia. |

Announcing our "Just the Facts Camp!" A fabulous, fun, mnemonic way to memorize those pesky times tables. Open to students 3rd grade or older, who understand the concept of multiplication but struggle with rote memorization. The first session will be held August 8th - August 12th, 9:30 am to 12:00 noon. Cost is $120. Class size is very limited. Additional times and dates may become available as needed. Register early! |

We are anxiously preparing for the opening of our clinic on February 1st! There is so much to do. I am also preparing a presentation on dyslexia to be given at the Eden Prairie Community Center. You can register online. |
